Sweepstakes for Filene's Basement Running of the Brides® Contest

Procedure

Brides-to-be can enter the WeddingWire Sweepstakes to win a $249 gift certificate towards a wedding dress sold at Filene's Basement by filling out their name, e-mail address, wedding date and specified location on the entry form.

Entries will be accepted until 5pm EST on the Wednesday directly before the scheduled event. The drawing for the winners will take place that Wednesday before the event after 5pm EST with at least two witnesses present. The people whose entries are drawn will each win a $249 gift certificate to the event in their specified city, providing they are eligible according to the rules written below. The winners will be notified by e-mail.

Rules

- No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
- Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Only one entry per person is allowed.
- Entrants need not be present at the time of the drawing to win.
- Entries must be complete and include full name, valid email address, and specify a location.
- Odds of winning are determined by the total number of entries received.
- No substitution, transfer or cash redemption of prizes is permitted.
- Winner(s) may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and a receipt.
- All federal, state and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner(s).
- Contest is open for each event until 5pm EST on the Wednesday directly before each event (NO entries will be accepted after this date).
- Winning entries will be selected via random drawing.
- Winning entries will be announced prior to 10am on the Thursday before each event. Winners will be notified via email. Winners must acknowledge via a reply by email or phone by 5pm on that Thursday before each event with a response. If a prize is not claimed by the set time, a new winning entry will be chosen at random.
- Winners must be present at the event specified on their entry to receive and redeem the prize.
- Prize must be claimed by 7:30am local time on the day of the event specified on their entry.
