Sweepstakes for Filene’s Basement Free Dress Contest
Procedure
Brides-to-be can enter the WeddingWire Sweepstakes for a $249 gift certificate to Filene’s Basement Running of the Brides events in Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, and Washington, DC by filling out their name, e-mail address, wedding date and specficied location on the entry form at http://filenes.weddingwire.com
Entries will be accepted until 5pm EST on the Tuesday directly before the scheduled event. (All events are scheduled for Fridays) The drawing for the winners will take place that Tuesday after 5pm EST with at least two witnesses present. The people whose entries are drawn will each win a $249 gift certificate to the Filene’s Basement Running of the Brides event in their specified city, providing they are eligible according to the rules written below. The winners will be notified by e-mail.
Rules
- No purchase is necessary to enter or win.- Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Only one entry per person is allowed.
- Entrants need not be present at the time of the drawing to win.
- Employees of Filene’s Basement, their families, their agents and vendors are not eligible to participate.
- Entries must be complete and include full name, valid email address, and specificy a location.
- Filene’s Basement is not responsible for entries that are lost or misdirected.
- Odds of winning are determined by the total number of entries received.
- No substitution, transfer or cash redemption of prices is permitted.
- Winner(s) may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and a receipt.
- All federal, state and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner(s).
- Contest is open for each event until 5pm EST on the Tuesday directly before each event (NO entries will be accepted after this Tuesday).
- Winning entries will selected via random drawing.
- Winning entries will be announced prior to 10am on the Wednesday before each event. Winners will be notified via email. Winners must acknowledge via a reply by email or phone by 5pm on the Wednesday before each event with a response. If a prize is not claimed by the set time, a new winning entry will be chosen at random.
- Winning entries are only valid and redeemable at the Filene’s Basement in each location as listed at http://filenes.weddingwire.com.
- Winners must be present at the event specified on their entry to receive and redeem the prize.
